On the downside, if Switch is a Wii U-style failure, Nintendo will have to seriously rethink its business,
most likely becoming a software-only company. That would unlock the IP many consider to be its most
valuable asset into the entire games market. It would certainly be a high risk, high reward strategy but
one that would chime with wider industry trends.
